Does EMC2 Require Any Audio Hardware? was created by hesdeadjim

My motherboard had AC97 onboard audio which i can disable in the bios.

if the program does not need audio, i would rather turn it off as i have read that it can cause problems..

Old Startrek fan are you...

I don't know of any problems with audio and EMC. AFAIK nothing in EMC uses the audio except perhaps a sim or two that make noise when they run.
