I saw the LinuxCNC from this topic
linuxcnc.org/index.php/english/forum/18-...n-raspberry-pi/46028

Among some ideas came to ODROID LinuxCNC,
To discuss it I thought it best to leave the topic dedicated to Raspberry and go for this.

What do you think? I am waiting for my ODROID-U3 :)

it should be possible with Machinekit, but not easily with LinuxCNC (No ARM support in LinuxCNC, and only support for RTAI).

There are folk interested in running Xenomain on Odroid, and Machinekit can run on ARM and Xenomai. At the moment Machinekit is LinuxCNC+, bit I expect it will diverge eventually.

Hello!

Machinekit is an installation image to BBB using EMC2 ?

The hardest part would be to develop a driver. I think it would be appropriate to use as the base project PICnC Jr (PIC32 over DMA). We consider SPI Custom drive in the 6 GPIOs exposed on the Odroid U3.

I'll test PREEMPT_RT and Xenomai in ODROID and post the results here, and if something does not work in the board.

Best Regards,
