Doubt about very old computer

Hello everyone, I'm new here but I'm trying to "repair" an a milling cnc machine to its original software is delete.It is a Pentium I 165 mhz and 32 mb ram. Is it possible that Linux CNC works on this computer?

To all intents and purposes, no.

You might just be able to get it to work, albeit with 32 MB of RAM, I doubt it, but it will be so slow as to be unusable.

Get yourself an ex corporate P4 desktop or better still one of the Intel Atom boards, as recommended on the latency test page and save yourself a lot of wasted time and effort
