I have another motherboard on the way to replace a mistake I made. No PCI slot for my 5I25...

Can I just swap the board and be on my merry way or should I wipe the hard drive and reload LinuxCNC ??

I'm going with a GA-H61M-S2PV

Typically with linux, you can just move the hard drive to the new Motherboard

Not so bad.. I love Linux :-) Swapped out the motherboard and rebooted, all OK
Went into the bios and shut any auto functions off, just a basic stable setup.

Here is what I have,

Gigabyte H61M-S2PV
I3-3220 LGA1155
2 Gb RAM , bios recognized the faster RAM no problem.
120gb flash drive
DVD/CD writer

Here are my results , running two 360p youtbe videos, one webpage and downloading 2.6, and running latency test.
