I have gone in and reset the permissions again. Not sure why that did not work, try this one;

Its set to public, anyone on the internet, no need to sign in. So hopefully all goes well.

Surely that has to do with the BIOS settings inside the NCBox?
With all the stuffing around with the CF cards and I have not seen that happen.
Sorry can't help with that one.

I have uploaded another IMG. This is the Arceye image that had problems dd ing. Grub reported that its partition table was stuffed.
Long story short, its labelled as NCBox_K2.6.30_L2.5.2. Again you need to gzip decompress it, and then it dd's nicely onto a CF card. Minimum card size 4gig. Tried 2 of my cards tonight with success.
Username: ncbox pass:linuxcnc and then straight into the openbox session.
I'll take another look at the other image and see if I get a problem.
Cheers
Col
PS the second img will only complete upload midday Australian western standard time

Nope, I switched cards and booted straight away into my original image
I'll have a look at the new image when it finishes uploading
