Most of the boards I've seen on ebay have the optical isolation so you have to supply a separate power supply to the inputs.

The sainsmart Bob is not isolated and only needs the usb or 5 volt power

the Green ones also give you the option of using the
Cable set JST-XH-3S
also they supply the 0-10V for the VFD control
