Wireless simple remote pendant Logitech F710

I found for my self very comfortable to use joystick in every day cnc working routine. I use Logitech Dual Action. ( wiki guide )

Having not enough space in my "work room" (attached) I'm trying to switch all my controls to the wireless interface.


Does anybody know whether Logitech F710 will work with LinuxCNC's hal_input component?

It works! It seems Logitech guys only renamed input pins for x,y,a,b buttons. It was "input.0.btn-thumb" and become "input.0.btn-x" etc... So with slight changes in custom_postgui.hal I'm able to control my machine without one more usb cable!

Beware! This wireless gamepad has a really little radius of activity. You can't control your joystick if it's situated >1.5m from receiver. Not very good.
The same effect I got with wireless keyboard and mouse (Dell). They don't want to work if receiver is distantiated more than 1.5 meters from keyboard or mouse
