Nappe DB25 female

Hi,

To connect a motherboard with a 6i25 and 7i76.
Installed in the same cabinet.
Distance +/- 500 mm

Can I make a nappe with DB25 male male instead of buying printer cable ?

It should be ok for short distances, just make sure it in not routed near noisy wiring
