Hi
I've seen this Parallel card on Amazon and wondered if anyone knows if it works?

If not, any other recommendations?

Just getting started

Thanks

I was going to suggest this instead:
eusurplus.com/index.php?route=product/pr...63_291&product_id=54

(Much more than just a parallel port)

But they are out of stock.

I bought a bunch of cards a while back to try to answer this question,

This one looks likely, if you don't want or need EPP.

Avoid any with the tine WCH chip, those need to load a driver to the cad at boot time. and don't work with LinuxCNC.

I have used several PCI card with MosChip (NetMos), never had problems with them, and they do work on different modes, In, Out or X.
See if you can find any PCIe with that chip, they should work with Linuxcnc.

Thanks for your speedy help!!

I just ordered one of these, based on the Oxford chips.

Will let people know if I get it to work.
