Have I Smoked My Motherboard? - SOLVED

After making great progress with my servo tuning, and getting some actual movement, I put in the cheap Chinese PCI-E parallel card I had just received, and on next boot, and all subsequent, I now get these wavy lines all over the screen:

I've removed the card, I've tried the gfx card in another slot, to no change at all.
I've yet to try the onboard VGA (no VGA on screen I have), or another gfx card, or to try a RIP version - unfortunately, I got called away for work immediately after.

Just wondering if anyone knows what this is, as I have no idea!

Those are very regular shapes, repeated, some shorter than others!
Never seen that, but it sure does not look like graphic problems.
Try booting from USB, see if it persists.

Figured it out - the graphics card had gone faulty.

Stole the SFF one out of the kids computer, and I'm back in business!

Definitely - it certainly enhances the forum when an issue has a known solution for others to find.
pl7i92 was onto it when he suggested the gfx card connection was dirty.
Other symptons were the computer would lock-up/freeze intermittently.
