Still cant move ion from Maintenance step, 2nd bin file fails with this output:
error: The transfer timed out.
type: transient, user
I have tried 4 different ST Links now and 2 different Windows systems to rule out anti virus.

With the issues people are having with the DAPLink, I've added the CMSIS-DAP probe firmware for the ST-Link V2 to the dev repo. This is the firmware I've used for all the development work on the RT1052.

At least people will be able to flash the board from MCUXpresso.

I will get MCUXpresso installed tomorrow and give it a go, thank you!
Wondering if this is possibly a driver issue?
My latest attempt and the bin file just sat there on the STLink, if I eject and remount it the bin file (as expected) disappears and volume continues to be called maintenance, and the htm file does not change either.

On the new EC500 and EC300 V5. What kind of voltage are you guys getting on pulse and direction positive terminals. On my older EC300 and NVEM boards I'm getting 5V. On this new board I'm getting 3.1V. Not sure if I have a bad voltage regulator or this is normal.

Did any of you guys make a backup of the original EC500 V5 mach3 firmware before you flashed. Maybe you guys can sent it to me. Not sure if my issue if firmware or hardware related.

Hi, I took an image of the EC500 firmware. I've added it and the EC300/NVEM firmware to the repo. The EC500 firmware is different to the EC300/NVEM.Did any of you guys make a backup of the original EC500 V5 mach3 firmware before you flashed. Maybe you guys can sent it to me. Not sure if my issue if firmware or hardware related.

EC500 is spinning motors, but IO pin / pad mapping is different to the EC300 / NVEM so for the EC500 we will need a dedicated firmware version.
Good news is that with the EC300 firmware some of the IO is available so people can get up and going while I work through the EC500 differences.

The 3v output difference looks to be correct from the data sheet and works with my drivers.
We might need to convert you to a LinuxCNC guy with Remora on your new EC500

The EC500 uses an AM26LS31 differential line driver for step and direction output. This allows for some noise immunity as it is the voltage difference between the two output that the stepper driver is seeing. On the new EC500 and EC300 V5. I know, funny thing Is I work on Linux based servers all day long at work. Was that upload for a V5 EC500 with the new processor. I ordered a second ST-Link to to start messing with it. Right now my EC500 V5 is bricked from factory. Not sure why I'm not getting any motor or output function. Input works. Don't know if the firmware is corrupt or the plug in is jacked.
