Bluetooth RS232 was created by rfhowell68
I dont have a 25 pin connector on my pc. Has anyone tried Bluetooth RS232 to talk to there cnc controller?

I'm sure the transmission rate is too slow for real time applications like CNC.
If you don't have a parallel port you will have to use a pci card. If your trying to use a laptop save yourself loads of time and don't.

230k max is the rate for my bluethooth RS232 . I have done DNC on machines at much slower rate, althouth this was just a program being feed to the machine, and not fully controlling it.
Just took a look as some serial port card. Most had a 460K max rating and I did find a bluetooth RS232 that also supports 460K.
