I've got a small combination lathe/3 axis mill that I have been running on an old version of EMC2 /Ubuntu. The computer died this morning and I'd like to get running today if possible. I have another computer sitting in the basement but it is 32bit.
What would be the latest version that will run on 32 bit?
If I remember, the live CD's contained Linux and the operating system. Is that correct?
A link to any installation instructions would be appreciated. It's been years since I did the last installation.
Thanks
Rick

Probably Wheezy ISO, found here:
www.linuxcnc.org/iso
See if you can copy the configuration file from the old computer, or even better, get the old hard drive out and put it in the other PC, uf the drive is still working it should boot and work as is.
