So, I just watched a video showing off this new CNC board from BigtreeTech. The video said it works with LinuxCNC, and I see it supports two other firmware as well. Has anyone worked with them on this?

Actually I doubtful of the Linuxcnc compatibility, and unless they come up with a driver..

Also I don't see any Linuxcnc compatible interfaces, personally I wouldn't trust wifi for running a cnc machine based on the Linuxcnc model. Maybe CAN or SPI but that would limit the choices of the computer platform.

I could not locate the video, you are refering to.

"Trying to get more info" and ending up having to create it, I personally would shy away from.

Not that i am aware of, nor has it been mentioned here on the forum.
But i do not think i am ordering any, no ethernet.
also, i avoid using "all in one" for production machines as much as humanly possible, but i do use their boards on 3D printers.

I's suspicious this is the board that Cakeslob mentioned that BTT was interesting in Remora support. STMH7x support is oh so close, just working on a updated DMA SPI logic.

Yeah, it is. I told them we were too far apart to make it work at the moment, but some of the older stuff still said linuxcnc. The other part was, it uses onboard TMC2160 drivers with SPI config, but it includes headers to use external drivers. They said something about their software engineers but they didnt reach out to me further. They included an SPI + UART connector for us, and we can use the Wifi connector as well with my w5500 adapter.
I can send you one if you want, but its basically an SKR3 mixed with a flexihal. So aside from the TMC drivers it should probably work with some minor tweaks.

TMC SPI support is something I've always wanted to get up and going in Remora. My time is starting to free up with the new job being less demanding, always happy to receive hardware to work on. The SKR3 you sent is sitting next to me now with debug wires hanging off it :-)

i think there should be some 5160's there somewhere also. The cnc guys like them because they have higher current rating i think. i like those edge card drivers, they are slick. ive been trying to get the 5160 going but i dont really know what im doing
