So I saw these and thought, that if you could run Axis on the main system screen, and touchy on the secondary display, that is right on the machine, that would be a pretty slick setup.
So can Display Link monitors be used with EMC?
This looks promising

Can Axis and Touchy both be active and running at the same time? Or can axis have a floating panel that lives on and responds to a touch screen?
I'm looking at something like this, don't have one to test though.

If the monitor can be used with Linux then there is no reason it couldn't be used with EMC2. I have never tried it, but assume that Ubuntu can support multi-monitor setups.
People have used dual-GUIs with EMC2, but it is also possible to have a free-floating PyVCP or GladeVCP panel linked to Axis which could be located on a second monitor.

Excellent, thanks Andy,
When I have the time and funds to play around I'll check it out.
