interpreter on EMC

interpreter on EMC was created by vincent
Hey, I found myself lost in the EMC world~recently, I was interested in the interpreter on EMC and the interpolation algorithm. But I was uncertain of the principle about these problems. First, we could write G codes files and run them on EMC, but what we could do is just to curve straight lines and circles, like G1 and G2/G3. Then the interpolator directly interpret the G code, and "make" these commands to be signals, then run the machine. But one thing, if I want to make NURBS, some complex curves or ever toroidals in EMC,is it possible?? I wonder if there is any "commands" to do these, or if I could make it myself?
if anyone here is interested about these, please contact with me

I believe the development version of EMC has some NURBS functionality added, But beyond that I don't know.

cmorley, one thing I wish you could show me is that the is the patch available? Or should I patch my EMC2 at once so that it will support nurbs??

thanks BigJohnT, But still one thing I am curious about is that whether the EMC2.2.3.3 has intergrated the NURBS algorithm already?? because when I try the "Image to gcode", or just import the 3dm file, EMC may interpret the file/image to lots of "G1 ** "codes....so I think the EMC does not have the NURBS algorithm, right??

Nurbs is only on the 2.4 development version. New things are not usually added to a released version.
