Does anyone know if the rotate part of G10L2 work? was created by digimetal
Hi,
I am have bother rotating a program using G10L2 - the offset works but the rotate does not.
It's listed in the documentation as :
G10 L2 P[coordinate system] R[rotation about Z] axes...
www.linuxcnc.org/docs/devel/html/gcode_m...:G10:-Set-Coordinate
but for the life of me I can not make the bugger rotate.
Any thoughts or comments would be much appreciated.
All the Best
Simon

Are you using this on an actual machine or just looking at the backplot in Axis?

Hi John,
Looking at the plot on Axis (2.3) shows translation but no rotation.
If I run the machine like that it will all get a bit costly!
It's a retro fitted Beaver mill (Bridgeport size) with some beefy motors.
I've been lurking (dreaming) for a while but it's been built and running a year now.
