Just to be clear with the proper use of G64 Pxxx Qxxx you can set the exact path tolerance that you which to achieve.
linuxcnc will adjust the speed going into and leaving a corner to achieve that result without rounding or overshooting more than the set amount.
With better acceleration linuxcnc will be able to maintain the requested velocity further into and out of the corner.
