Python is not a compiled language so re-booting is not needed. I assume the directory where you put the .py file is not the same one that you issued the command in so nothing happened. The directions on the wiki say to put the files where ever you want. Your using 12.04 so I can offer no more help on trying to run the .py file other than you have to be in the same directory when you do ./filename.py in a terminal.

Yes, that is correct and from the highlighting the file looks to be executable.

What happened after this command?
Code:
filipe@Vaio-VPCEH3K1E:~/Transferências/source$ ./dxf2gcode.py

Thanks to all

Solved my problem...

filipe@Vaio-VPCEH3K1E: python
Python 2.7.3 (default, Feb 27 2014, 20:00:17)
[GCC 4.6.3] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information

Then i use the version you tell..
Now works like a charm...
