M code to send SMS Text Message was created by bottleworks
I'm trying to setup a method for notifications. I wear hearing protection with blue-tooth connectivity to my phone. This allows me to listen to podcasts/music when running my machines. What I want to do is have an M code available that I can trigger in my programs which will send me a text message. Then, I know I need to swap out the next tool or material.
The good news is that you can send a text message via email. For Sprint, it's (phone number) at messaging dot sprintpcs dot com.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a command line email client that might work well in this situation?
