NC program exit after custom M1xx code

Hi .
I'm testing some G code and I made a custom M1xx compliant to the instruction into the manuals .
To be sure that noting change nothing I just create the M bash style file with only "exit 0" statement , made the file executable , placed it into the correct folder (declared into the .ini file) and invoked the Mxxx funtion into the G code file.
What is happening is that the G code program is exiting with no error right after the Mxxx invoking line.
No way for me to understand what is happening so an help is needed.

Solved.
I restarted the pc and everything seems to be ok.
