Andy,

That is still a pretty neat wiring job!

I plan to run from the controllers to the MIC connectors in my panel too. Also, the piece of metal that all my MIC jacks are run in, I think I will use either a piece of fiberglass or plastic to insulate the jacks from the metal drawer since my AC ground will be attached via the PSU cases. I am thinking I will take an aluminum plate isolated from the drawer with standoffs and mount my controllers to them. If I turn them 180 degrees, I can run the motor wires on the outside and the signal wires to the inside of the drawer.

Thanks for pointing out the ferrules. They will make a neat job of it and reduce the risk of a stray wire strand from being naughty.

As a side note, My motor wires from the MIC jacks to the motors are 2 sets of 22 AWG twisted pairs. They are open to the air. Should I replace these with shielded wire? I mean, I will have signal wires routed along side them eventually in the cable management, or do you think the twists will keep it under control?

Joe
