work with x,y and another axis not involved

Dear All,
I've a problem and i don't know very well EMC2..
I want to dispense a product on a surface..
I've used the DXF2Gcode utility to have the Gcode for x,y axes
My problem is...
If i want dispense uniformly a product over the x,y route using another axis how can i do?
Can i use axis interface?

I do not think that will be a problem, I think if you do a search there are some threads on emc with glue dispenser and extruder. If you are dispensing a material at a constant rate could you use the spindle command to turn the dispenser on and off?
