gcode generated by pycam - touching lines... was created by wicki
Hi *,
when I generate gcode from dxf/svg/eps with pycam and a very small font is used (about 2mm font height),
the z-axis is not lifted up between some letters.
(or the dot of an "i" is engraved over the "i" without lifted z-axis between)
As a workaround, I increase the letter size to 8mm - then this bug is gone.
But I don't want to change the stepping-width of my linuxcnc-config (to reduce the letter-size back to 2mm
in the engraving-result) for each work with small fonts.
Do you have any hints for reducing the x/y-values of a gcode-file via a postprocessor?
Or any other ideas, how to remove the buggy letter-output of pycam?
regards
wicki
