EMC2 and Vectric Cut2D was created by shotgunn
Hey guys,
I am about to attempt to run my first file from Vectric Cut2D. How do I get the file into EMC2?
Do I just save it in Cut2D and then open it in EMC2?
Or do I use one of the Export options in Cut2D and open it in EMC2?

The file must be a g code file to be used with EMC2. I don't know anything about Vectric but see if it has a "post processor" for EMC. In CAM programs you must use a post processor for the machine your creating the file for. Most CAM programs you pick your post processor then create the g code from that.

Cool thanx, I see all of the post processor options. Now I just need to find out which one will work with EMC2. There is nothing that says EMC2.

I am currently waiting for a response at the Vectric forum. I know they have something that will work. Len from Probotix has been helping me out quite a bit. He uses EMC2 and Vectric software.
I'm trying to avoid calling him as I have been spending HOURS of his time already.

Problem solved. I called Vectric, they said they will email me a post processor file for EMC2.
