Path full 3D tools ?

there are multiple out
i like camotics very mutch

the freecad got its own simulator as of you make g-code also

tom are you refering to the simulation mashines that projekt the path gcode
i think he is looking for a 3d view

He just asked for a gcode simulator, so the best simulator for that is the actual controller, hence LinuxCnc simulator version.

A simulator that does not support radius compensation (like camotics) is of very little use.
And from my point of view a simulator should offer more then just showing toolpath motion.

A good simulator is topmill from mts (but its not free nor exists a linux version).
The 3D-simulation is nice to look at, but not really important.
What makes this simulator invaluable is the cut-view of the created workpiece with the unlimited variants of measurement. Geometric points snap the measuring tape and you can zoom in and out and visualize any kind of error.
The cut-plane can be moved and there are three cut planes like iso views of technical drawings.

thanks for the hint
most of us are semipro so we dont need this stuff as we can read g-code direct and see the problem

FULLY agree there is no good Gcode 3D CUT view for linux as non does G41 G42
