I think that there would be a problem if the number of motion-id codes was more than 2,147,483,647 as it is held in an int.
That would be a program with at least that many lines, and possibly many more as only commands that cause motion get an ID.

The largest ngc file on my computer was ~1,600,000 lines.
~45 Mb

2147483647 lines must weigh (according to this proportion) ~60Gb
