G - Code programs was created by kunaire
Does anyone know a good dxf to gcode program thats open source?
I've tried freemill but it doesn't give me a complete code, so emc won't run it.

Unfortunately good and free are not usually used in the same sentence with open source CAM software. There is a list on the wiki of CAM software. Also there are some gcode generators on the wiki as well.
What kind of machining are you doing? 3-D molds, profiling etc.
Also there is a CAM section here.

I'm learning how to make 3D shapes at the moment, just trying to get the g - code to work right before i even begin to carve it.
