G43 and 4th Axis was created by rfhowell68
I am having a problem with 4th axis and using G43.
My program runs fine without G43, but after calling a G43 in MDI or in my program. Jog wont work correctly, the system is very slow to respond, the program wont run.

Hi
Don't know if it is connected, but one thing that happens with G43 if you are not careful, is that the tool offset gets added to the existing work offsets (if you haven't cleared them) and can put you in the wrong place, sometimes supposedly at soft limit extents or near homing switches, whereas in reality you are miles away.
If you are using Axis you should get 'exceeding soft limit' warnings however.
regards
