Hello,
Quick question about Axis. Is it possible to run the G-Code without the machine actually running ?
Just to check a G-Code is behaving as expected in the toolpath window ?
I basically want to test visually my G-Code before the machine running.
Thanks

No.
The way people get around this is to load a simulated linuxcnc on another computer (or virtual session?)
and test there.
In principal it should be possible to have the plot do as you say, but no one has tried AFAIK

Well on a stepper system you could run it with the power to the stepper drivers off and re-home when done.

I do it all the time, I just configure a sim to match the parameters of my machine along with the cycle timer and test all my code at the desktop before sending over the CAT5E to a machine.
