High folks,
OK, be kind I'm old and learning impaired!
I have some really stupid questions I'm having trouble resolving on my own, I'm sure this is very simple to all of you.
In looking through the manual I see two things (for the moment) I can't resolve when I return to Axis to try them.
1) I get the tool table, in fact it's seems like it's really handy.
But, When I hit touch off I'm supposed to see a choice for the tool table on the list, it's not there.
What have I done wrong?
2) I read that you can turn tool compensation on and off, I can't figure out how that's done.
Where is the switch for that?
Is there a simple way to set tool compensation that I'm missing?
Thanks

G43 loads the tool offsets (DRO will update for the current tool selected)
G41/G42 turns on/off the tool radius compensation. G40 turns it off.
If you call:
T1M6G43 it will update the DRO for the tool 1, with the offsets present on the tool table.
If you want to touch off with tool 1, I suppose you call it, touch the material then touch off. The other tools will "also know" your touch off, if the offsets are correct among all the tools.
