Axis default XYZ mapping to Red,Green,Blue was created by eneuro
Hello,
I recently setup my mill with linxucnc 2.5.4 and noticed that X axis had green color, Y axis red. Only Z axis had expected blue color in Axis.
I used to have in many 3D tools X red, Y green, Z blue, like many other CAM software and 3D CAD systems, so started to dig how to exchange those strange colors for me of XY axis and thanks to <cradek> from #linuxcnc IRC, I've found temporary solution simply by setting X resources using xrdb command before running linuxcnc command with axis properties pointed by <cradek> in current: git.linuxcnc.org/and put resource database to into my home directory in my fresh install of latest LinuxCNC 2.5.4 updated to ~/.axis.xrdb:Now Axis simulation looks like this and I have mapped those 3D coordinates axis as used to:
How do you think, should not it to be default in Axis to have those colored: X red, Y green, Z blue?
