Hello everybody.
I'm working with some gadgets connected to LinuxCNC and I tried with Emcrsh which is my best choice.
Than I found this problem.
1. When I send "set machine on", command is correctly executed but then telnet by LinuxCNC side completely stack, no answer any more.
If I disconnect and connect again, I can continue and all is OK until I send "set machine on" again.
Its bug or its made for some kind of reason?
I though it was a bug so I make actualization to new version 2.6.2. but its still the same.
2. After actualization new slide appear "Rapid override", but there is no telnet command for control it, so this break my project with it.
I have no rapid control any more.
Any experience? Please Help.
p.s. The good thing would be to fix them together if somebody wish that. In ini file or somewhere.
Best regards,
Kris

Hi
Have a look at this thread.
We found previously that you have to initiate in a particular sequence or you can get lock ups.
The sequence outlined seemed to work
www.linuxcnc.org/index.php/english/forum...art-locks-up?limit=6
linuxcncrsh is a bit antiquated. I started writing a Qt5 version of the server, with a view to then writing a Qt client instead of using telnet, making a lot of the transactions, button presses instead of text strings.
The summer weather and stuff that needed doing put it on hold, maybe when the weather breaks and I want to be in the warm again

Hi
If you are working remotely like that, you want to keep an eye on MachineKit, Linuxcnc fork.
www.machinekit.io
Alex has android phone apps that will allow control of anything remotely, before long it should shake out into a generally usable program.
