Getting camview-emc to work on wheezy was created by jorsborn
I am having troubles getting camview-emc installed on wheezy. I've followed the directions on the wiki as well as psha's site. The repository was added and updated successfully. I am referring to squeeze as it is the latest in the repository (no wheezy). Attempting to add camview-emc I get the following dependency issues:
Any suggestions?
camview-emc : Depends: python-camunits but it is not going to be installed
Depends: camunits-plugins-emc-misc (= 0.0.37) but it is not going to be installed
Any suggestions?

I can't give any specific instructions on that kernel, but I had QUITE a time getting it to work on Ubuntu 10.04 with LinuxCNC.
First, make sure the generic camview works on your system. Then, the major hack to camview is to add a crop function to the string of functions.
By cropping to the center of the camera image, it forces the display to blow up the central part to fill the window. Once you have this working, then
you have to integrate it into Axis.
