axis doesn't always run the displayed toolpath was created by pgf
i often do edits to (or even recreate) the g-code file i'm working with, and use ^R in axis to refresh the user interface with those changes.
the other day i forgot to do the ^R, and was surprised when axis executed the new (from the file) g-code which wasn't what was still displayed on the screen.
i'm having trouble figuring that this can be considered a feature: surely what's shown should always be what's executed?
i'm running the latest code available on the wheezy livecd.

My guess is when you press the Run button the file is loaded from the disk and when you press the Refresh button the backplot is updated to show the new program.

well yes, i agree completely. that's clearly what's happening.
i believe it's a bug. or, at least, completely unexpected behavior. is there a bug tracker for linuxcnc?
