using a switch requires using the direct-value option and a mux or somethimg similar
set the scaling to get percent, then have a mux component out put 25,50,100 % depending on the switch position.

that was what I used, but, for example, if I left the machine on 25%, next time I start linuxcnc it will be set at 100%. only if I make a change on the switch it will update.

The pin halui.machine.is-on toggles when the power button (F2) is pressed. Maybe you can use this to toggle the logic.
