When I open a file in AXIS it shows only the file name.
Sometimes a have a newer file with the same name. To be sure I want to see the file date.
How can I change to the "list view" with date and file length? Also to sort by date.

Unfortunately I don't think you can. Axis uses a very simple file selection dialog. It _might_ be possible to edit Axis to use a different file select dialog, or to change the list view in the dialog.
I just tried "Open With" from the OS file manager, and choosing LinuxCNC is a bad idea, it tries to open it as a LinuxCNC config (ini) file, and that's bad thing.
Depending on how badly you want this, it would be possible to create a shell-script "app" that loads the file into LinuxCNC from the OS file manager through the linuxcncrsh interface.
