motors enable in stepconfig but not in axis was created by owenz
Hi all,
I have viewed several answers to this question, but none have been of any help so far.
I recently downloaded the latest live cd and installed it. Debian linuxcnc 2.7.
I looked at the signals on hal and everything looks ok.
I tried inverting the signal on Amp enable but when I do that the motors turn off when using stepconfig.
Spindle does not work either, unless I invert the signal, but then it runs all the time, and axis does not stop or start it.
Do I need to do something with Hal? Has anything changed from 2.6?
I am using the same pc and everything else is the same. Only change is the latest linuxcnc.
Anyone have somewhere for me to start looking?
Thank you
Owen
