Some keys stopped working

This is strange. after years of working greatly, suddenly I can't select an axis by using the x, y, and z keys. Also The i and c keys stopped selecting incremental or continuous modes. The r key for starting a program as well as s and t keys stopped functioning. The other keys function ok. Using the cursor on the screen works okay.
What has changed recently?
Well, I recently incorporated pyVCP indicators. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but will check that out tomorrow.
Any comments, anyone?

Discovered "Caps Lock" was on.
