Displayed path when using radius tip tool on lathe was created by bally123
I was experimenting with G41 and noted the display shows the control point following the tool path rather than the edge of the tip.
I was expecting the tip to stay in contact with the path around rads larger than the tip rad.
Is this correct, or is g41 not being applied?

The line shows the path of the control tip.
If you want to see the part outline (in a sim) then you can set the tool radius to zero, run the code, then re-run with the radius enabled.
You will then see that the radius remains tangent to the un-offset line.
