David,
Tell us more about the machine you are trying to configure, like motion, drives, motors, wiring, setup, plasma, etc.

5FT X 9 FT Table, no THC yet, will be getting a Proma. I'm using 1/16 micro-stepping, belt drive for the X and Y and Ball screw for the Z.

If it is a stepper machine just run the Stepconf Wizard and create your configuration. If it is a servo machine use Pncconf. Sample configs are usually not the best place to start unless you know how to modify them.

To get good help you must spell out what you tried, what you expected and what you got...

Hahahaha, I just got my THC figured out. Going to need to know more about your components. Toma is a great place to start; I can help you with modifying it to your own machine, as best I can anyway.
