Spindle Speed Override - incorrect behaviour was created by TheChosenOne
Hi,
I would like to be able to set spindle override values by moving spindle speed override slider between 50% and 140%, so I set following values in .ini file:
However when I move slider to its left edge I reach 0% instead of 50%. Is it a bug or what I need to do to fix it?
I use newest version from master branch

MAX_SPINDLE_OVERRIDE = 1.400000

in the new system the MIN is not used as for some New featuers you now can stop the spindle with the override
so the min is ignored
THIS gives you a advantige on manuell tool load

What version did it work in?
It looks like it's not in AXIS in 2.7
Where you using a different screen before?
There is no reason i can see not to have it.

So was it just the docs that made you think this would work?
I looked at linuxcnc 2.6 and AXIS never looked for spindle minimum so I am convinced it never did.
Other screens do.
Maybe I'll look at adding it to AXIS in the future.

the VFD has a option to get minimum Frequency on FOR/REV
so if M3/M4 ocures it will never spinn lower then as CHINA 6000rpm -24000
This is good for milling but not for the Touchoff as i like to use 200rpm to touch

Yes, documentation made me think it works that way. I have no reason to override spindle speed to 0 but someone might have, so I think this value should be customizable.
