2.8.0-pre1 XXYZ gantry Axis preview toolpath stretched in the X direction

Hi all. I am running a 2.8.0-pre1 XXYZ servo gantry configuration generated via pncconf. In general the machine is working fine, but when viewing the toolpaths in the Axis preview GUI, the tool path appears to be stretched twice as long in the X direction. The parts cut fine, the extents are shown properly in the preview, but the toolpath is stretched.

Any suggestions on what might be causing this?

I should add, I looked through github issues and this forum and I wasn't able to find anyone with a similar problem.

I won't be by the machine for a couple of days, but I'll get a screenshot as soon as I am able.

Might just be a screen resolution issue. Try taking a screen shot and look at it on another computer. Does the screen shot look different on another pc?

The rest of the screen is normal, I can even see the extents of the tool path in the preview tab labeled with their values, and the extents are correct and to scale. The actual tool path however is twice as long in the X direction, no matter how I rotate in the preview view.

I think that rules out a screen resolution issue.

You are right that a screen shot will make this more clear. I'll try to get one as soon as possible.

I have an idea of what your problem may be. Could you post a copy of your ini file.

In the display section of your ini file change the GEOMETRY = xxyz to GEOMETRY = xyz

That was the problem. Changing to GEOMETRY = xyz resolved it.
