Hello LinuxCNC community

First time poster/ 2 day old linuxcnc user

Since my installation my coordinate position display on the preview tab has looked weird, meaning different from my boss. Please see the attached image.

I primarily used this guide
I'm on a Ubuntu 20.04, and have linuxcnc-uspace version 1:2.8.1.44.g60f3d7
The numbers change in accordance to the machines position, however the small boxes give me no readable information about the actual coordinates. So far I have turned to the DRO tab for that, however I would like to have decimal numbers there instead of the boxes.

What should i do?

Thanks in advance.

Can not recall what exactly, but that has to do with localisations, so try to set locale to UTF8.

My system locale is already set to UTF-8, or is it in linuxcnc the locale has to be set? If so, where can i do that?
