Image-to-Gcode ignores pixels in picture and starts with offset - Bug ?

In order to better understand the image-to-gcode setttings to convert a picture to Gcode, I created a very simplistic 11x11 pixel grayscale picture (saved as 24-bit PNG) - see attached.
When loading it in AXIS and creating the GCode, two thing are not as expected (see attached screenshot of the AXIS preview).
1. The outer black rows and columns of black pixels are just ignored - I get a 9x9 pixel GCode. Why is that ? Why is it ignoring the outter pixels of the image ?
2. The Y-axis starts with a 9.9 offset, but the X-axis starts at 0. Why is that ?
Can you confirm this behaviour ?
All these issues are independent of the conversion-settings.
I am using linuxcnc 2.8.1 on Ubuntu 20.04.

Give dmap2gcode a try. It is free, made by "scorchworks" i think, on the phone so can not check.
