away to stop an axis being drawn in the backplot? was created by robh
hi
looking to know if any one knows away to that be used to stop an axis being drawin the in axis preview/backplot window. something to add to axisrc file or such..
as i have a W axis on the lathe but its quite pain when W axis moves and on backplot its draw on same section as the Z axis, so would be nice to get rid of it from being drawn when its moved etc..
untill someone can find some time to improve the backplot for multi turret lathes & slantbed lathes..
thanks, rob

I don't know how to stop just one axis but you can use special comments to hide all or part of the g code.

GEOMETRY= in the INI file might do the trick. If you leave out the W it might be ignored.

(However, the comment thee says it only has any effect when there are rotary axes, so it might well not work)
