how to connect the two outputs into one signal ?

I want to plug in inputs "pyvcp.x-home" and "parport.0.pin-12-in-not" to "halui.joint.0.home".
The first entry is in the pyvcp hal file, the second in custom.hal
How to do it ? Because I gets only errors, for example:
panel.hal:4: Signal 'my-homex' can not add OUT pin 'parport.0.pin-12-in-not', it already has OUT pin 'pyvcp.x-home'

I want to run HomeX from the pyvcp and external input.
