M101/ M102 works great. Now ? was created by Timbob
You Guys helped me get the M101 and M102 up and running and it works great. Thanks for that. Now I am trying to do the same thing for another function using M103 / M104 the exact same way and it will not work. It doesn't give error messages it just won't trip the switch. I I change the # in my m101 / m102 shell script from 14 to 01 pin 01 works fine. When I change it to m103 / m104 nothing happens. If I open emc status it does not show up under m codes could this be the problem? If so how do I change it? 101/102 dose not show there either. I thought at this point I knew what I was doing and again I was wrong
Thanks in Advance Tim

Usually when you know what your doing a typo sneaks in and breaks things.
If your talking about the line gcodes G80... that is the active modal gcodes currently in effect and not a list of all possible gcodes or the gcodes in your presently loaded program. It is similar to the MDI Active G-Codes: without the current M and F and S codes.

I looked and looked for typos, had my wife look, compared them side by side and could find none so I pasted the original 101/102 script in it's place and changed the pin # and it worked.
Thanks again Tim

Did you remember to set the file permissions to allow it to be executable?

I copied and pasted from the 101/ 102 into a new file named M103 /M104 and it worked fine. I must have been a typo..
Thanks Tim
