Need hal file for Teco JNEV-201-H1 VFD was created by markd
I am looking for an example of a hal file to control a TECO JNEV VFD. The VFD is connected to a Mesa 5i25 - 7i77.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

as this VFD uses the industrial analog +10v inputs , then for basic use you dont need anything else than a couple of relays for the fwd/rev and enable , these will interface directly to the 7i77 spindle analog output .
if you wish for Modbus control with the additional rs232 module then you would need to modify or create a modbus driver .
for most users this is not required .

thanks for the reply. The 7i77 has no direction pin in the analog pins. where would I get the direction signal to drive the relays?

use 2 relays connected to the GPIO out pins , use one for direction and one to enable
then connect these to spindle-cw & spindle-enable ( i tend to use spindle-ccw and have the default direction as forward , so this relay unless running reverse is not pulled in on the relay , if that makes sense )
