I don't know. If the kernel is the same then it is probably worth a try.

It should as the new Path Pilot 2.0 is done on Mint.

I got the halcompile working.. My dumb ass forgot to install some packages... I didn't exactly know what are the modules packages as desceibed in the tutorial.. Now I installed all of them and rebooted and now it works:)
